Tresillian House, hotel in Gaddesby

Boasting garden views, Tresillian House features accommodation with patio, around 25 km from Belgrave Road. This property offers access to a terrace, table tennis, free private parking and free WiFi.

I did not stay here, due to a failure of the booking.com messaging service between guest and host, but arrived thinking I was staying. Host could not have been more friendly, helpful, and kind. Didn't see any rooms, but very lovely place, with nice decor and beautiful gardens. Would go back.

Coplow Glamping Pod & Hot Tub, hotel in Gaddesby

Located in Houghton on the Hill in the Leicestershire region, Coplow Glamping Pod & Hot Tub features a balcony and garden views.

We recently stayed a t Fox’s Furrow which is a gorgeous pod but feel it is expensive. I have stayed at various pods around this area and this one is about £60 more expensive. Yes, it does have a hot tub but if heating yourselves it takes a good 3-4hours! You can pay extra for them to heat it for you. The hot tub doesn’t have steps to get in and out which I thought was very odd (and not particularly safe).. The hot tub isn’t a spa tub so it is just like sitting in a hot bath! The wi-if didn’t work whilst we were there and Netflix’s didn’t either (said we weren’t part of the household). Luckily I could use my phone data. You get a bottle of complimentary apple juice but that is all. Again, if you want a breakfast package etc you have to pay extra. All the other pods I have stayed in you at least get a bottle of milk, load, butter and eggs. The pod is beautifully decorated and a lot of attention to detail has gone in to it. They are building another pod on site. ((The plumber was busy working in site whilst we were there). Nice for a night get away but I would not be returning.

Drift View Shepherds Hut, hotel in Gaddesby

Offering a garden and garden view, Drift View Shepherds Hut is set in Melton Mowbray, 29 km from Leicester Railway Station and 31 km from De Montfort University.

This shepherds hut is exceptional. Beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The hosts left lovely essentials to get us started. The lighting at night is beautiful, wanting this effect in my own garden now! Wish we could have stayed longer.

BEST WESTERN Sysonby Knoll, hotel in Gaddesby

Set in beautiful landscaped gardens just 15 minutes' walk from Melton Mowbray town centre, this 100-year old house is next to the River Eye, with free fishing for guests.

The rooms was spacious, bright and comfortable. There was a fair-sized surface to work on, though it wasn't a proper desk. There is plenty of space for parking in an enclosed area (locked at night). There is a good variety of public spaces, including a couple of garden areas. Only a short walk from the town of Melton Mowbray

The quintessential English pub in a quintessential village. Food was fantastic; hosts excellent; rooms were lovely; bed comfy and all the facilities working well. Worth the slightly higher cost for the overall experience.

Everything was great except the shower, the spray from the shower was very poor & having long hair it took forever to try & rinse out shampoo!! The only other thing was Booking.com shows breakfast priced at £10.95 when in actual fact it’s £14.95, which we did feel was a bit expensive. But overall we loved our stay, the owners & staff are exceptional, the pub itself lovely, in a beautiful village & surrounding area!

Great friendly village pub in a nice peaceful, rural location. Beds super comfy, spotlessly clean room and genuinely friendly staff. Very quiet. Great pub food - the homemade pies (incl. the pastry) are superb. Beef & Stilton was the best pie I can ever remember eating!
