the apartment is clean, cosy and comfy to stay with. it has cooking oil, pepper and everything u need for cooking. both bedroom is nicely decorated. Location is superb too, just down the river and it is very close to city centre. value for money. Nicholas is nice.

Loved its central but quiet location and how obliging and responsive Rosie the owner was. Thought the apartment was smart and well equipped with some thoughtful extra touches - certainly no sense of skimping.

Perfect location! Short walk to everywhere we wanted to go.
Had all the necessary facilities. Clean and tidy and complementary box was a perfect touch.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice setting. Great locaton in pretty village of Ecrick. Great breakfasts plus had the joy of finding a Gideon's BIble in our room. We plan to return. Followed a guided tour leaflet of the village from the next door Church.
Lovely old building in a beautiful village setting, ideally situated for visiting York. (take the bus) The spa facilities were very good. The bedroom was spacious and warm. We had dinner in The Fat Abbott next door which was excellent and Breakfast in the hotel had something for everyone with prompt and friendly service.
Very good breakfast and great bedroom room 40 was a superior room great bus service into York and easy to pick up cycle route 65 Shelby-York we walk into York 8 miles flat walk and get the bus back approx every 25mins from York.
Outlet village only 3 miles down the road.

Good Thai restaurant less than 5min walk from Hotel as well as the Fat Abbot in the hotel grounds.
Lovely, well maintained spa facilities. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Décor and ambience of the hotel was very pleasant. Staff pleasant and helpful. Great location for a weekend visit to York, a short drive from the Designer Outlook village which is also the location of the Park and Ride into York.
The Fat Abbot pub (part of the complex) served a nice range of food and just the other side of the church (about three minutes walk) is a nice Thai restaurant which we enjoyed.
