Location is good if walking the Ridgeway. Had an evening meal and thought the food was good pub fare. Friendly staff. Shower was excellent after a hard days walking.

Well as there was not one to cook breakfast ,it was disappointing to be told we could get breakfast further down the road at the farm . Although dissapointing we enjoyed the walk & the breakfast was lovely ,and a reasonable price !

Lovely hotel with a gorgeous outdoor area in a beautiful village. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and we had dinner on one night too which was very good. All staff we met were friendly and helpful.
Lovely location in a very pretty village. An historic coaching inn but with lovely comfortable rooms and very smart bathroom. Comfortable bed and good facilities in the room. Just a short drive to our destination for a hot air balloon ride at The Wild Pig farm shop (a fantastic experience).
Good friendly attentive staff ( even thou they had a very busy day before with a major event in the village) Lovely breakfast (chef even came out to ask if ok) hotel kept to a good standard throughout.
