The entrance was directly off a busy roundabout so a little care is needed when entering and exiting the property. The house itself was quiet though the landlady was quite a character. Rooms large and comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and generous, so much so that we did not need lunch!

Beautiful decorating throughout plus a lovely lounge with wood burning stove. Attention to detail everywhere. Mini fridge in the room with cold milk and water. Had a separate bathroom with my room and a dressing gown was included to travel along the hall. Lovely welcoming people. Just the right mix of friendly and care for your comfort. Could see tidal loch from.windows an watched a heron fishing for supper in the burn Would happily have stayed longer. In fact disappointed I wasn't.

We had a wonderful stay in Winterton, the location is tranquil and picturesque, the accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The host were wonderful, friendly and accommodating, and provided great recommendations of what to explore in the area.
