Beautiful peaceful setting - a perfect family getaway. We stopped here for two nights at the end of our West Country trip so that we were well placed to visit Cheddar Gorge. The cottage is a real gem: very clean, cosy and well equipped for self catering. The beds are very comfortable too and lots of personal touches which make it feel like a home away from home. The rural setting on the site meant that we slept well and our boys loved going for walks to visit the farm animals. The river and lake are also lovely and we look forward to trying out kayaking next time we come. The icing on the cake is The spa facilities (which you book separately on arrival) these are brand new - stylish awesome with amazing views over the fields. A perfect place to unwind.

Great location easy collection of keys really clean and friendly local pub serves amazing food has everything you need in the kitchen, only thing I would have liked would be a TV in the bedroom so we slept on the sofa bed I the front room but that was a personal preference. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely go again

Lovely building with spacious bedroom and bathroom, all extremely clean. Decor themed with the age of the house. The breakfast room is the old school room with photos. Very interesting hosts to chat with during breakfast. Off road parking. Great for breaking our journey.
