Loved the quirkiness and the feeling of being 'at home' in a former genteel age. The furnishings and decor was charming.

Absolutely stunning cottage and view from back of cottage over a neat garden to the sea. Cottage was clean and spacious and there were 2 bathrooms 1 being ensuite off main bedroom. Perfect holiday home will book again soon. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Didn't intrude on our time there but available in the house next door.
Great remote location. Beautiful garden. Room is very small, but it's an adorable setup. Hosts are very nice and welcoming!
15 mins walk into the village with a good pub. Short drive (5 mins) or walk to the beach. 45 minutes drive to Newcraighall park and ride (10 mins train to Edinburgh).

A very relaxed, comfortable, enjoyable stay in a lovely welcoming home with great hosts. A home from home - lovely horses and dogs. Great situation 10 min walk to village pub and restaurant. Near to beach, St Abb’s and Eyemouth. Very Informative visit to Chain Bridge Honey Farm and Paxton House.

So quiet and peaceful, a real place to relax in.
The hosts were friendly, and we liked the spacious room that we had. The bathroom was excellent with plenty of space and a very good shower. The location was certainly very quiet, and it was nice to sit in the garden at the end of the day on our return from touring. A nice village with a good pub/restaurant for our evening meals, and an historic priory and church.
close to village. lovely big house. Great we could take dog, lots of room to wander. we had the cosy annex with en suit and shower, big thumbs up there.
