Ideally located in a quiet village. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We were looking for a B&B and were instantly attracted to this property. Had all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay, inc tea and coffee and a powerful shower. Use of a garden room and the garden. The decor was modern and tasteful. No cooking facilities, other than a microwave, but several pubs nearby. Also the ‘So Good It Yurts’ serves an excellent breakfast. The owners are happy for residents to order in takeaway food - plates and cutlery provided. We also had superb comms from the owners who provided advice on local amenities.

Location was lovely, not too far away from a local co-op which stocks most things. Full kitchen, all pans and cutlery provided making it very easy to cook for yourselves. Wood fired hot tub with logs, kindling and fire lighters provided. Hot tub filtered every morning. Hosts are lovely and informed us of how to use the hot tub and where everything was located.

The house is very close to the town centre, only about two minutes from the LIDL supermarket but still on a quiet residential street. All the furnishings, bedding, etc. were very nice and essentially brand new during our stay in July 2023. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely consider coming back again the next time we visit Retford.
