Very lovely and beatiful place, spacious room and bathroom. Tastefully decorated with good quality towels, bedding etc. Comfortable bed, very quiet at night.
Superb breakfast with quality produce, we really enjoy it!
The host Paul is very welcoming and friendly. And with the welcome treat - homemade scones and biscuits, very delicious.
Very nice area to explore, love the 5-minute drive village Denholm, a place with good food and drinks.

Fluffy towels, home baking, fresh eggs, comfy bed and the fire pit. The setting was idyllic and very peaceful. We enjoyed "meeting" the horses and dogs despite our anti-social wee mutt.

the flat feels like its been newly refurbished and all the fittings and appliances in the bathroom and kitchen are to a high standard. Fresh and airy feel which exceeeded our expectations.

Highly recommend Branxholme castle, it has been beautiful restored and the rooms are fantastic. The room is large with everything you need along with a communal lounge and there is even a tot of whiskey to make the evening complete. The grounds are stunning and there is a cafe within the grounds.
The breakfast is out if this world, I have never seen so much fresh fruit provided with my yogurt. The cooked breakfast choices are fantastic and all delivered to either your room or the lounge.
We enjoyed our first night so much , we stayed another night.
Set in a grand Georgian house and landscaped gardens, Allerton House offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and cooked breakfasts. The pretty town centre of Jedburgh is a 5-minute walk away.

Our second visit within a week as we were walking the circular Borders Abbeys Way. Allerton House was our first and last night. We had the same room - Castle- as on the first visit some 6 nights previously. It was excellent and the en suite bath was much appreciated!
Set in Hawick in the Borders region, Shepherd's Hut Westcote features a patio. A hot tub is available for guests. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home.
Our second stay at the steadings cottage. Location of the cottage is in a very quiet little village bit only 20 min drive from a bigger town for places to eat and shopping. The cottage itself is so peaceful and relaxing. Lovely layout with a big, well equipped kitchen. Double bedroom downstairs with a very comfortable bed. Had two Fantastic nights sleep (even through storm jocelyn). Private parking. Hopefully we will return a third time.
