Everything was perfect - the best stay we’ve had for a long time. The house was lovely and in a great location - only 10 minutes walk from Aldeburgh but in a quiet road so no traffic noise. There was only two of us so plenty of space and everything was spotless. Lovely shower. Recommend booking dinner well in advance- we booked before our holiday. The Lighthouse restaurant is wonderful.

Roomy house and large garden terrace for outdoor meals in warm weather :)
House was larger than we expected.
The property seemed well managed; excellent comms from the management company. Nice touches of a home such as decor with local references.

The key safe was well hidden away but as we are both in our seventies bending low down to the key safe was a problem after a long journey in the car. We have a key safe at home so know how easy they are to work but I had to kneel down to see the numbers and there was a massive hollyhock grabbing me! Once open it was fine but my husband walks with a stick so this could have been a problem for us.

Beautifully presented cottage. Great for our family trip from Scotland. We were down staying in Aldeburgh and sailing at the yacht club. We have two small children aged 3 and 1. Cottage was well placed and easy walk into town and to the yacht club

Very secluded and well-appointed. Everything in it that you could need. We went in November and the heating was good. Bed and sofa very comfortable. Wooded area very peaceful
Great village location with easy access to Christmas events nearby
Good selection of local beers as well as wine in ciders.
Really good live music and being part of the village atmosphere.
Really good location and value for money, went as a couple with our 2 dogs, no hidden charges for dogs either.
Don’t be put off with some of the negatives. The host was busy running a business, his team were very professional and the food outstanding and good value.
An old loved village pub 😊
Basic facilities but comfortable , clean &with everything you need , tv, tea/ coffee, fridge . Situated in the rural village of Blaxhall near Snape, lots of waks, cycling. The pub hosts bands, folk music, good beer and a value for money food. The full English breakfast was excellent.
Comfortable rooms, facilities adequate and showers good. Breakfast was excellent. Nice countryside setting, village feel. Overall very good and would book again.
Lovely garden room behind the pub in a charming little Suffolk village - comfy and spacious and surprisingly really quiet despite the pub - will definitely return
Historic pub with good food and excellent choice of drinks. Warm, cosy room with ensuite shower room. Small fridge and coffee/tea making equipment provided. Very clean with an extremely comfy bed. Live entertainment on Saturday evenings and some other days of the week. Plenty of car parking. Very quiet surroundings in remote village. Hearty breakfast - freshly cooked with lots of choice.
