We've stayed with Vivienne and Stephan previously, just as a stop-over, and came back here (returning from a trip) intending to spend a couple of nights in the area. Vivienne and Stephan are lovely hosts. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed (with separate entrances). The house is located in a very quiet village set in beautiful rolling countryside studded with charming little villages. Vivienne and Stephan have directed us to some really good local restaurants. Additionally, the breakfast they serve is excellent (look out for Vivienne's home-made jams). I'm sure most tourists zoom past this area, to get as far away from the chunnel as quickly as possible but that's a mistake: the countryside is lovely and the Opal coast is wild and has beautiful beaches. I can recommend La Villa Belle wholeheartedly.
La Roseraie is located in Saint-Étienne-au-Mont, a 10-minute drive from Équihen-Plage, and features free WiFi and a furnished terrace and garden. Hardelot and Wimereux are a 20-minute drive away.

Loic (the owner’s son in law) was brilliant and did a great job of welcoming us to the property, which although simple, is well located as a stopover the other side of the Eurotunnel. It’s also nicely located to explore the coastal town of Boulogne Sur Mer.
The garden (although you have to access down the stairs and from the outside gate) is large and fantastic and was the perfect place for our dog to let off some steam.
Very quiet location, not far from the village, and good for the motorway link to A16
A restaurant on site providing a selection of dishes and a menu du jour at a reasonable price
This accommodation is what I would describe as a 'typically french' in terms of decor. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hosts were easy to communicate with and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed the 'menu du jour' for dinner. We also really appreciated the kitchen area for making our own hot drinks / snacks. The auberge is in a quiet location on the edge of a rural village - very tranquil but a convenient overnight stop for us before going on to Calais.
