The apartment had everything we needed. Parking was easy and it was in easy walking distance of a selection of cafés and restaurants with a take away just round the corner. There was a fan in the room which was a godsend given the heatwave we experienced. Although on a road, it was a very quiet location. It was ideal for our overnight stay.

Breakfast was probably the best we’ve ever had at a B&B. Fresh, with many ingredients from the garden, and utterly delicious. So good that we even asked whether Philippe was a chef. There was also a fantastic restaurant opposite where we went for supper the previous evening. And the host, Philippe, was perfect. Warm, polite, and ever helpful.

The place is easily reachable by a car. The area is properly silent at night. It seems to be a garage converted to a living space. Basic but it is okey and has all the basic (sic!) amenities. This is no premium property, but the sleep was good, the toaster was working... and what else do you need!?

Quiet, well managed by experienced owners. Good bed, tastefully furnished room, good welcome and info re local things to do. Great to chat with Min and Barry and find common links from the past (geography and even THFC!).
Lovely little apartment with a small garden which the dogs liked. Much better than a hotel room as more space and more private. Vivonne is a lovely village with nice walks for the dogs and plenty bars and restaurants to choose from. We had lovely pizza from La Paillote and the next day we picked up croissants and amazing cakes from Andrieu Boulangerie.
Nice hotel in a nice town. Market on Saturday morning very convenient and good value.
The hotel has a restaurant which is quite decent, even though the staff was a bit all over the place at the beginning of the service (fully booked).
The staff was accommodating with our requests (travel cot, mattress and sheet for our 2 year old).
We enjoyed the walk around the village and along the river.
The setting in an attractive old village was perfect. Parking was easy in a square nearby. Really good meal in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.
