Denise is a wonderful host who gave us some very useful local information. Les Chouettes is a charming property with lovely decorations and furniture. The breakfast is simple , great and generous. A real pearl. Very comfortable and bright house with excellent amenities complementing a peaceful room with superb views. Kind, attentive and resourceful hosts. Delicious dinner is available a couple of times per week - an additional perk, invaluable after a day of hiking. Also very “conviviale” - it was nice to meet other families / couples and sit side by side during breakfasts in the terrace. A perfect way to end our vacation !

The house was beautiful, the environment also! We really liked our stay there! We enjoyed the terrace, we cooked there (not a lot of restaurants in the village), we received reccomendations from the host what to do there, we slept good. The house is also very beautiful.
Wonderful B&B. Just few minutes walk from village. Scenic location. Very welcoming helpful hosts- British ,longterm residents in France -appreciated their bilingual skills and local knowledge. Very helpful when our travel plans were upset. Lovely extra comfort touches - felt relaxing. Ample Breakfast served on landing outside bedroom door. Spacious bedroomm and bathroom.
Very good location. Very close to the bus stop, and not far away from the train station. The village is a small place so it was close to everything else in the village.
The rooms were spacious, the host was very welcoming and there was a great continental breakfast on offer.

We loved the opportunity to taste living in an old village. The walking trails and nature and history to explore. The ease of accessing the little yellow train.

Great location (attached to the tower around which the village was essentially constructed), beautifully restored 2-story apartment with a lot of space, friendly and helpful host, all the amenities one could want, and a fascinating town. The fort and the ramparts are pretty amazing to see, and open most days – arriving deeply off-season as we did, many places within the walled town are not open, but all the essentials can be found (everything is, by definition, close by), and the restaurants that were open were excellent.
The appartement is beautiful and in the heart of the village. The bed was very comfy, kitchen well equipped and there's a place to store your bags out of the way. Lucille was very friendly, helpful and accommodating and really cares about the place being just right! It's also easy to get to by train. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and couldn't recommend it more.
