Excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was slightly different with so much effort and attention to the guests requests. The pool was open throughout the day and we were left alone to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. It was a lovely gesture that the children could take the baguettes and breads left over from breakfast as snacks.

We have stayed at l'Instant Bleu before. Francois is an excellent host and goes above and beyond in hospitality. Breakfasts are superb, especially sitting by the pool in the sunshine. We love the location and the quiet surroundings. And it is so useful to have the separate covered area with fridge and cooking facilities. We will be returning.

Met by Catherine and given keys and walk through of facilities and given ideas for dog walking in the area. Lovely welcome drink and great chat with her and later her Husband.. Really nice facility in a great place for what we needed. Dog more than welcome with rural walking right on door step.

From the outside this property looks quite industrial but inside it has been transformed into the most beautiful, calm, welcoming place to stay. The dining room, bedrooms and garden are all thoughtfully and tastefully curated. Patti and Patrick are the kindest, most helpful hosts it is possible to meet who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great experience.
The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented - mostly made by Patty with home made yogurt, cakes and jams.

This was a super property, probably worth more than a ten. Flo has really thought about how to meet her guests needs in every way, from the power points beside the bed and elsewhere, to additional hooks in the bathroom. A very comfortable bed with linen bed wear. Great shower and bathroom. Easy off street parking, secure property. A bonus was the full shared kitchen and communal living space for her guests. It was warm, dry and exceptionally well appointed. Communication with Flo was easy and timely. Location was good to get to La Rochelle, or local shops and restaurants 10 minutes away. This is the best place we’ve stayed in 5 months of travel this year.
