It was so quirky - we loved the projections in the restaurant, the style of the whole site, the electric vehicle charger (perfect as this was a crucial stop between south of France and UK) Food from restaurant was amazing.

A lovely B & B in a very quiet country setting. Benoit is a very good host and provided us with good breakfasts and also cooked us a very good supper on both nights we were there. The king size bed was very comfy and there is a large shower in the ensuite. We didn't make use of the swimming pool.
A recently renovated apartment situated in Chauvigny, Gites De la Cour au Grenier features a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the apartment free of charge.

The house had everything we needed and Michelle was very friendly and gave us good advice on where to go and eat that night. The whole single-storey house is in lovely condition, there is a good size patio with table chairs to sit out at and a reasonable sized garden space for kids to play in .The internet worked well so all in all very satisfied with our one night there while we were passing through. If we had a need to visit this area and spend longer I would be very happy to stay here again. Take Michelle's advice and visit Chauvigny at least one evening to walk round and eat rather than automatically go to Poitiers all the time it has a great old town, a nice relaxed feel and a number of good but unfussy eateries. The Gallettes restaurant (Le Bigorne) is very good.
We liked the location in a small village with local amenities. The free parking outside the hotel was very welcome. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and warm and the bed comfortable and the bedding was of a high quality. The breakfast was good value, we have paid a lot more for a similar breakfast in other hotels. It felt as though the hotel had recently had a re-fit recently as everywhere was in good decorative order, with none of the usual scrapes and marks on the paintwork.
