It was a beautiful old building superbly modernised inside. The passageways were well lit and attractive as was the lift. The room was delightful. I have never been so pleasantly surprised by a hotel as when I entered Première Pierre. The situation was so lovely, the village was gorgeous, and the bar/restaurant across the road, family run, was memorable for all the right reasons!

This was a lovely B&B located in the centre of Sauternes. Well-appointed and equipped, this was a very comfortable room. It has the bonus of being opposite both a great restaurant (Auberge des Vignes) and a nice cave in which to buy some wine. Very nice breakfast, served early to accommodate our departure time.

Letisha & Jean Jacque are a lovely couple and made us feel very welcome at their lovely home. Maison Circé had lots of character, was very clean, we had a great night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. Great bathroom very spacious, bath and walk in shower. Breakfast was just right, very nice coffee. Would have liked coffee making facilities in the room.
Would definitely stay again when travelling through France.

Location was great. Sylvie and Walter are amazing hosts. Peaceful and lovely pool. Easily accessible to so much of the surrounding area. Just a magic stay.

Our booking at a Chateau was upruptly cancelled and we had to look for a place last minute. We were glad to stay at Première Pierre. Despite reaching late, all instructions were clearly communicated.. Room was very big, like in the photos. Very quite little village. The hosts were very friendly and so lovely to talk to. Breakfast was included in the price, it was small and perfect for us.
We reached at 8PM, no restaurant was open nearby Luckily we found an excellent pizzeria de L'horloge, just 8min drive away,
The property was perfect for our base to explore the area on bicycle. It had a secure courtyard to store our bikes and many routes to cycle on, including the Garonne canal. It was easy to arrive by train in Langon then a 20min cycle to the prperty.
The apartement was comfortable and had a small kitchen to cook with. There was a washing machine.
The staff were very helpful and breakfast was provided.
The village of Verdelais is charming and has a number of restaurants.
Quiet yet central in a beautiful village. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious and light.
