The best holiday accommodation we have had. Rural France at it's best. The gardens and the location superb. Lots of little areas to sit outside and enjoy eating out and perhaps a glass of wine and have an evening stroll. Close to Bayeux and all the local attractions. Your host is very pleasant, helpful and a truly wonderful person. So is Harry the dog. Say hello to the ducks,, geese, pony, ass and terrapins. Be sure to search for the "man in the bottle." We cannot rate this place highly enough.

Christine and Christophe are both fantastic hosts, very welcoming. She assisted us with advice and many valuable tips about restaurants, museums and sights taking into account what you want. Very charming house in a quiet area very close to Bayex.The rooms are very comfortable, with pleasantly soft bedding and a communal corner with kettle with coffee or tea. We had a great time there, including the last evening with the hosts! Absolutely recommended as a base for the Normandy beaches! We are already plannig our next visit :) Thank you very much Christine and Christophe!!

All new property designed and constructed with love by the young couple who owns it. The interior is exceptional - modern, cozy and providing everything the travelers may only dream of - our stay was indeed absolutely comfortable. The location is in the sleeping area however local attractions are very close - within 10-15 minutes of driving. The property is highly recommended.

The Annexe du Clos d’Esquay was spacious, very comfortable, nicely decorated, and the kitchen contained just about everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable. The location - just 3 km from Bayeux - is very good for visiting the region. The hosts Sandrine and Laurent were very friendly and understanding when we arrived late due to unanticipated holiday traffic and even left us a bottle of the local cider chilling in the fridge.

Location was perfect for the areas we wanted to visit. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, a bonus for us was that their English was perfect!! We would definitely stay at Le Loft again when we next visit Normandy, also we were very grateful for the cake and bottle of cider that we were given.

Excellent location for exploring the Normandy area and Bayeux. The gite has everything required for your stay. The bed was comfortable, and the water hot in the shower. We also had use of a washing machine. Be aware that the bathroom is downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs, so this might be tricky for elderly guests.
