It was a beautifully decorated town house turned into rooms by the looks of it. Lovely garden and really friendly host. Gave us directions to a local town (7 minute drive away) to go out for dinner. Lovely view of the courtyard. And as we were alone in the building for the night they upgraded our room for free! Plus a really friendly cat lived opposite 🥰

Very old traditional French property. We were met by our host Didier and his grandson on arrival, and made to feel very welcome. Safe parking for our motorcycle. A very charming and welcoming family. The whole property is steeped in history and beautifully decorated in keeping with its past, artifacts and images everywhere! Very ckean and comfortable. Breakfast outstanding, all homemade and taken in the most amazing internal courtyard....a must for any visitor to Maison d'Almes.

Beautiful spot with cool, comfortable rooms. Seemingly remote but easy to get to a town and a few minutes by car away for buying provisions. The pool is a jewel in the crown as it is a two minute stroll from the villa in a tranquil setting. The hosts are friendly but give you plenty of space.

What a magical little village!
The atmosphere that surrounds the hotel is quite unique and so peaceful. We arrived in the night and the square of the village was a delight, with tiny colorful lights that outlined the foliage of majestic threes. Another three, even more majestic, was standing as guardian in front of the building in which we slept.
Our bedroom was really charming, finely adorned and clean. The owner has been hospitable since our arrive and we spent a wonderful night.
We had a great stay in this charming house, located in a quaint countryside village. Our dog felt very happy and welcome too.

Charming old house in a restructured medieval village, conveniently located not too far from the highway. The room is ok and the bathroom has functional and beautiful old sink and shower basin. Yulia and Eric are friendly and nice hosts, very responsive and helpful.
The hosts Yulia and Eric were as welcoming as if we were old friends arriving to stay! Given that we booked literally a few minutes before as a result of a mini crisis this was exactly the welcome we needed. We loved the location of the Villa, the welcome of the hosts, the breakfast and especially the homemade jams, and the beautiful room and garden.
