We were made extremely welcome by the hosts, even though we were only staying one night and were the only guests. Mareille drove down to collect us from the bottom of the steep, winding access road, and she took us back down to our car the next day. Despite only modest language skills, we all had a very enjoyable conversation over the delicious homely dinner. Bedroom and bathroom very comfortable.

charming cottage, fully renovated and spotlessly clean! nestled mid- way up col de la forclaz from ugine which for us cyclists was fantastic. gas top stovetop and all appliances worked very well. great laundry. onsite parking was great. wifi good. key in box with code was very convenient. personal touch from host with fresh wildflowers in vase was lovely! thank you.

Our host Laurette was very helpful giving ideas for motorbike roads in the surrounding mountains. The apartment itself was very spacious with the added bonus of a patio and garden. Jacline was a warm and friendly host who went above and beyond to make our stay the best. We had the upstairs to ourselves and enjoyed her flower surrounded patio. Her breakfasts were amazing, with fresh bread, pastries, fruit, and yogurt, and she prepared special dishes due to my husband's allergy to sugar. She recommended special places to visit and dine. The location was beautiful and close to good hiking and the Lake Annecy area. We'd love to come back.

What was not to like! This is one of those hidden gems you don't want to share with others. The room was spacious with a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely diner both evenings. This is definitely a place I would recommend to my family and friends. If you enjoy the outdoors there is plenty to do in the area, and there are also options for those who enjoy visiting markets.
