Excellent stopover, from Isabelle's warm welcome to the beautiful setting, the comfort, the cleanliness, the food - everything was perfect. Set in secluded countryside, in 2 hectares of woodland, this little haven of luxury is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Our room was big and airy, the bed was really comfortable and bedlinens were top quality. Everything has been thought of, there are little personal touches everywhere. Beautifully decorated, our huge bathroom contained plenty of towels, bathrobes, fleurs de douche, everything we needed. We arrived in the evening on a cold rainy night and Isabelle provided us a fabulous meal. Breakfast was spectacular. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

What an amazing, quirky property. It was like being invited to stay in a family home and the lovely vase of fresh yellow roses on our arrival was a lovely thought. In an ideal location - just a couple of minutes walk to the riverside and shops....boulangerie, tabac and couple minutes drive to Intermarche (although this was easily walkable to as well). Lots of cobbled lanes to explore. The Thursday market spread along the riverside with loads of local produce for sale. Extremely well equipped with all you need to self-cater and plenty of spare bedding, if needed. Milk, a bottle of water and butter was in the fridge on our arrival, along with ground coffee, coffee pods and other staple foods in the cupboards, which we used and replaced as necessary. Enclosed courtyard 'garden' was an ideal space to sit in with a remote control awning which we were very thankful for in the hot temperatures. BBQ available to use, along with all the BBQ utensils needed. The house itself is quite dark but that wasn't a problem - it also meant that it was lovely and cool when we came in from a very warm time outside. Absolutely loads of power points in every room and USB sockets (including in the toilets/bathrooms!). There were just 4 of us but the bedrooms and sofa bed could sleep up to 10 people, along with a couple of babies/young children. Little touches like a little sleep blanket toy, stairgate, baby bath and even a bath thermometer would make it ideal for young families.

Valerie made us very welcome and offered us a delicious homemade non-alcoholic fruit cocktail on our arrival. Our room was large and beautifully furnished and the bed particularly comfy. The ensuite shower room was modern with a large cubicle and powerful shower and there was a separate WC. Breakfast next morning was delicious with homemade cakes and preserves and cherries and strawberries from the garden. The timber decked swimming pool area was stunning and the whole refurbishment/remodeling of the old farm buildings which make up this delightful chambre d'hotes has been done with thought, imagination and flair. It is very high quality and I would recommend it to anyone. A real shame we were only staying one night, but this was our first of three overnight stops on our way back to St Malo from visiting friends near Carcassonne in the South West.

We like the fact that it was in the lovely old part of town. Beautiful apartment. Lovely kitchen. 1km from train station. Lovely shower. The housekeeper is very helpful and friendly.
