Location was ideal for where we needed to be. Parking was just outside of property. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Accommodation was in a rural area and was exceptional, very roomy, clean, comfortable and tidy. Breakfast was served outside as we requested but could have been in our room. Breakfast was great, plenty of selection and filling.

The hospitality and the kindness of strangers.
Andy and Gilly were the perfect host! My kids were entertained 24/7. The stay there felt more like visiting family members in the country side due to the immediate click that we shared. We are so grateful to have crossed paths with Andy and Gilly and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
Just a very simple couple with lots of genuine love, kindness and good vibes to offer.

Montmorillon is a historical city and the house is centrally located. The house is full of original features - from a carved oak staircase, panelling, beams and original tomette tiles that have been lovingly restored and brought to life in an Anglo French style - bags of personality and a homely feel. The garden is a hidden gem and equally as charming as the house - with the original greenhouses. It feels like a secret garden as you walk through and under arches and trees. There’s also a swimming cool for those inclined.
The breakfast was served in a converted barn/garden room - again, full of charm. There was lots of breakfast options and we felt thoroughly welcomed and spoiled by Marie and Roger - the owners.
Our bedroom was really spacious as was the en suite- with beautiful restored and hand painted pieces of antique furniture. Marie and Roger’s love and passion for their home and business is evident throughout.
They were so helpful and knowledgeable too. Just lovely people and a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.
