Exceptional experience in Hobbit style house, Pierre was very friendly, prepared pretty breakfast for us. At night there was absolute silence and darkness. Also the swimming in the river was amazing. Hot water in the shower a many books for reading.

This charming chambre d'hote is tucked away up a steep forested hill above the Lot river valley. Run by a private host who raises her own chickens, grows her own vegetables, and cooks delicious French-country-cooking meals. It is far from any town, but host will pick you up in her car if you're on foot. Communication is in French: she is very friendly in coping with language barrier. Lovely shaded outside terrace for meals, lounging around in hot weather.
Situated in a beautiful small village, very quiet and the garden has a gorgeous view. Julia and David are great hosts and will make you feel right at home. Julia is a great cook so do yourself a favor and reserve your dinner as well.
Very attractive, historic property in the church square of the small village of Sénergues, right on the GR65. Room was beautifully decorated, clean, and everything functioned perfectly.

This was the second time we stayed at L'Ancien' Poste. Very friendly and attentive welcome by David and Julie. Room tastefully decorated. Well-prepared breakfast. Excellent location in a peaceful village to explore the beautiful region of Aveyron. Haven of peace and tranquility for those who like nature, culture (Conques nearby!) and slow living.
This was our best stay on our week of walking the Compostelle. A warm welcome on arrival, a comfortable and tasteful room, a great bed, good shower, friendly and accommodating hosts, delicious dinner and breakfast. The village itself is lovely and only a fairly easy walk to Conques the next day.
