I was in a solo cycling trip. It was so perfect for what I needed. Clean warm faculties. I stayed in 'Utah' sheppards hut next to my new Goat Mates. Honestly so peaceful and delightful. Lovely shower, tea and coffee bed was so comfy having cycled all day slept like a baby.
Cycled down to Bayeux for dinner ( takes 15 minutes) . A historic medieval town pretty much untouched by the war.

The location was perfect for our purpose to visit the WWII beaches of Normandy and visit some museums and the American cemetery and memorial. Stefan and his wife, Marie were very cordial and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, with locally obtained fruits; peaches, apples, oranges and more. We were able to have fresh local eggs cooked to order as well as homemade apple juice, yogurt and jams. The jams for the croissants and crusty breads were amazing. We purchased two to bring back with us. Our king size bed was more comfortable than what we have at home and everything was clean and provided with a great deal of thought for decor and quality. Such a lovely place to return to after a long day of touring the area.

Breakfast was simple and excellent. Served in a common area , where you met the other guests. Location is quiet and relaxing, handy for Bayeux, Caen and Juno beach. Great for a stopover if travelling by boat from Cherbourg.

Quiet location, but close to main attractions. Self catering. but optional breakfast was very good. Small kitchen, but adequate for two. Hosts friendly and helpful.
Old, beautiful, quirky building set in a lovely quiet area and gardens. Huge, comfortable room with two beds sofa, kitchen and table etc. Great to relax after a days exploring. Friendly and helpful owner, nice breakfast and dinner if required. Small setup, like a mix between a holiday rental a B&B and a small hotel. This is not a luxury destination, but just really nice and comfortable.
