The house is surrounded by vineyards and nature, yet has all the facilities to keep you connected while relaxing and enjoying beautiful Saint Emilion. The location is great, close to wineries, shops, but you'd need a car or bicycle to get most out of it. The family maintaining the home are incredibly friendly and helpful. All in all, I cannot recommend highly enough. This is a gem.

A gorgeous historic property right in the center of a beautiful small town and steps from the Vezere river. The woman at the front desk (owner?) was without exaggeration the friendliest and most helpful person I encountered in France. A large garden features rose trellises, games and a small pool. And they have a great breakfast buffet with local foods like jam and honey. This is a lovely home base from which to explore the area.

The on-site pool was refreshing and lovely. Breakfast was served on the terrace just above the pool with a fabulous view of the valley. The rooms were fantastic and exceptionally clean. We stayed in three of the rooms, I’m sure the fourth one was equally wonderful. We had arrived by bicycle with no car. Our hosts were wonderful in giving us a ride to a local restaurant.
