We appreciated that the room was large and clean. The bed is a good generous size and the shower is good. There are tea making facilities. It is a peaceful location and a short drive to the very pretty village of les Petits Andelys on the banks of the Loire which we looked round in the morning.

The house had a real feel of history and the room was so clean and a modern bathroom. The breakfast was excellent , but the most important thing was our lovely host. She couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, letting us know where we could find a good restaurant for the evening. Her communication prior to our arrival was excellent and although she couldn’t speak much English, between our poor French we managed. We would definitely return. It is about 15 minutes from Monet’s garden.
