Very convenient location directly on the Loire river! The room was nice and just what we needed. There was a small equipped kitchenette, a designated indoor and outdoor seating area to eat and enjoy coffee. Host has been welcoming, nice and attentive to our needs. WiFi performance was beyond my expectation for a remote town in the middle of France.

The overall accommodation was spacious with good facilities. Stairs to the loft bedroom area a little steep. Nice modern bathroom. Downstairs lounge area was adequate. Really lovely breakfast taken in the host’s home. The host was very friendly, helpful and lovely to talk to. The host helped with a good recommendation for dinner at a nice restaurant right on the river in Gien town, 10 klms drive. We sat over breakfast for quite some time and had wonderful conversation. I felt very comfortable and relaxed, like she was a good friend.

Well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. Very good, quiet location. And our XXL cottage (4 Bedrooms+Livingroom with a dishwasher) had the best place on the edge of the camping site with a view over a field. Great pools. A little too few sun umbrellas (maybe because there were also very few guests right after the Lockdown). It's great that at Checkout there is a carefully controlled inventory, whether nothing is missing or damaged. Great vacation!
