The chateau is beautiful with soaring towers and turrets and set in some grounds. The table d'hote dinner was fun - you sit at a long table and there are 3 courses with wine. The room was great value.

Close to the centre, close to some basic shops to cover everything. The instructions given were pretty good, and for those things that weren't, the host was very responsive and quickly provided answers to various questions. Given the temperature, the large fans available in the property were a godsend.

we were amazed at the property for the price, off a large garden with a covered terrace with a sofa and chairs you enter through patio doors into a large double bedroom, there’s a little kitchenette and bathroom. We sat out under the terrace listening to the toads owls and wild life.

Quiet; our four bed room had ample space for our 2 teenage girls and us; very comfortable beds; spacious separate toilet and shower room with 2 wash basins; cold swimming pool which was ideal given how hot it was outside. Loved the beautifully laid-out communal breakfast table. As animal lovers we were amused by the cat wandering into our room and in the dining room. The restaurant in the village square (Marmite and Bouchons) is excellent and a 10 min walk away. We were there on a Friday eve and booked at 6pm for a table at 7.30pm. It filled up while we were there.
