What we liked, it is this place very neat, well maintained shaded, bucolic, small basin, strewn with these plants of water lilies, very flowered, with animals such horses, donkey dogs cats, hens... Very calm place, and it seems almost withdrawn from any civilization.

Small, neat, clean,comfortable and very well equipped. The view to the Chateau is super, especially when it glows in early morning sunshine. Gaillon is a lovely location and likely to become a tourist hotspot when the works on the chateau are complete in years to come as the town has many interesting ancient buildings and the local countryside is very pretty. It was easy to collect keys and communications with the owner were timely and friendly throughout. Parking was over the road, and even if busy the town has a lot of free parking spaces. The WiFi was excellent, and the provision of a washing machine was helpful for a one week stay.
