We stayed in a beautifully renovated farmhouse which was decorated with impeccable taste to interior design standard. Just gorgeous! Christine is a warm, friendly, knowledgeable host who loves a morning chat. She's also an amazing cook and her exceptional homemade breakfasts are full of tasty and very filling treats. The location is fantastic for visiting chateaux, historic towns and lovely countryside drives. There's a large supermarket and the lovely town of Montrichard just a short drive away.

Great hosts. Jumped in their car and chased us down on our bikes to return some belongings we had accidentally left behind. Lovely gardens and outdoor space. Charcuterie board was awesome. And the breakfast was great. All local foods, including home made preserves.

We had a room under the roof that was very cozy and clean. It had a wonderful local flare. There was a kettle with coffee/tea supplies, and also a ventilator and a radiator that you could control. No fridge in the room, but we were offered to put anything we needed into the one in the kitchen.
The breakfast was great - a buffet offering eggs, a couple of local cheeses, freshly baked baguette, yogurt, lemon cake, and typical French pastries - croissant and pain au chocolat. It takes place on a glassed terrasse, and we really enjoyed the view - the territory looked fantastic, with its greenery, small pond, and a couple of bridges.
