we had a family emergency and asked to change the dates of our stay and were told it was ok by the owner, but when we tried a few days later to submit our new dates we were told no. she was very angry with us about our request. we did not receive a refund or the ability to reschedule and lost our entire payment. the host would not work with us and booking dot com was of no help whatsoever. it looks like a beautiful place but we will definitely not stay when we do go to Medoc.

Chateau Baron was a brilliant find. Everything about the stay was perfect. The host was lovely and even offered us a wine tasting, despite us arriving quite late in the evening.
