The location was perfect for exploring the area. St Emillion and its wineries were about 10/15 minutes away and Bordeaux was about an hour. The apartment was clean and well furnished with new appliances and kitchen needs. There was a cone coffee maker as well as a nespresso machine(the local grocery store actually had Starbucks nespresso pods). The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Benedictine, our host, was wonderful and patient with our French. She was glad to show us her winery and her product. Highly recommend Gite du chateau Rose des Vents.

We really enjoyed our few nights not far our of St Emillion. The hosts and staff were really welcoming,the breakfast excellent, their wines very good, and the rooms really spacious and super comfy. Wish we had more time to look around the area, and use the pool. Thorough recommend to future guests.

Lavande gite is an idyllic little haven set in amongst the vineyards. Saint-Émilion is a 15-minute drive and well worth a visit. Had a lovely week staying here. It is peaceful and quiet. Our gite was very spacious and clean with everything that we required. The patio area was private and a lovely place to have breakfast or dinner in the sunshine, there was even a little BBQ with coal all ready to use. The complex was well kept and the pool area was the perfect place to while away the days (it was exceptionally clean)! Ralph and Despo were happy, friendly and very attentive, providing useful tips for exploring the local area. We really appreciated the small touches, the Brie, baguette and wine on arrival as well as the bunch of flowers. Would highly recommend Gasquerie gites for a thoroughly relaxing holiday.

Immaculate and well thought out - the hosts clearly like to keep a tidy ship: bedding and towels are good quality. A spacious gîte for the 2 of us and we really enjoyed our stay.

The Host & Location Monsieur Maillard was an amazing host who made us feel very welcome and even introduced us to his sister who makes wine and is very passionate about it. Needless to say we took some home! We were sad to leave after such a lovely stay!
