We arrived at Chateau de Seguin and were told we would not be able to make use of the pool as the pool was booked by a private group staying at the castle and moreover there was a group of italian tourists, so we were offered to stay at their sister property. A lovely man organised everything for us and we had the very best time at this other property.

The location was amazing, close to Bordeaux, five minutes by car from a supermarket, but it was still in a countryside location. Sophie, the host, was friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was fabulous, if you want peace and quiet, you'll be happy, I'm a very fussy sleeper as I sleep so lightly, and even with the ceiling fan on I could sleep, it was a remote controlled one and very quiet. A fairly busy road was close by, but I didn't hear a peep from it until the morning rush hour. The walk in shower was lovely, much appreciated, and the outdoor decking area was a nice place to take breakfast or sit for the evening, we arrived late, so a cup of coffee out there was all we had at night. The accommodation included a cooker and a hob, a toaster, microwave and a kettle. There was nothing missing. I would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here. Nestled amongst the vineyards with a beautiful view the property is absolutely lovely. All you need for a family holiday is provided, the place is like a home from home and spotlessly clean too. We spent lots of time in pool, it’s gorgeous and a real highlight. The host, Lionel, is friendly, welcoming and so helpful with recommendations for local activities. A great place to stay.
