The location was perfect, in a very pretty, historic, rural part of France. The property itself is an old, nicely renovated farm which retains the charm of the old. It is in a lovely garden setting, very comfortable, and furnished with all you need, except, perhaps, for reliable wifi. It was patchy much of the time. Our only (small) disappointment was the breakfast - the croissants and bread were from the day before - inevitable in a remote area - and we would have loved to have some local fruit.

Really good towels and nice linen bed sheets Breakfast was so good! elegantly served with fresh local juice, fresh bakery and amazing omelet with secret ingredient- which is love, I suppose I really enjoyed that quite, beautiful freshly renovated house, with amazing owners It seems that you are going to the old friends, instead of guest house. Guys made a great list of recommendations with nice restaurants, interesting places, and great local shops! J’adore! I highly, highly recommend! It was the best place I’ve stayed in my entire life! I love Gîte l'Echauguette du Perche, this is my second visit in the last few months and i plan to return. I like the location, the house is very comfortable with a wonderful open fire and good heating and facilities.
