I arrived much later than expected and was warmly welcomed. The room was big and comfortable and the spa bath a delight. When I had to leave very early, my hosts kindly made me a lovely breakfast much earlier than usual (7am) - such kindness !

Superlative hosts who gave their time generously and shared knowledge to ensure our stay was outstanding. Went that extra mile to help us oldies with IT issues and places to eat in the evening. The welcoming cidre in the tranquility of the grounds after a long journey was a nice touch. Parking next to this historic house was useful. Truly well appointed room on Ist floor with large bed/beautiful linens and bathroom with big fluffy towels. Shared Lounge is a nice spacious room with books to peruse or to look out of at gardens. Wonderful choice of beverages/foods to enjoy for breakfast, many sourced from local suppliers. Madame's tablecloths in breakfast room are something special too. Our hosts spoke many languages between them - so talented, and have a great eye for detail. We wish them every continued success and hope to enjoy their hospitality again. Many thanks and our appreciation from the three Kings !!

We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner. Our room was comfortable, tasteful and also quiet, despite overlooking the high street and being next to the breakfast area. We could help ourselves to tea and coffee (from a smart Delonghi coffee machine) in the kitchen at any time. Breakfast was great. Wifi worked well. Location was perfect and we were given a discount for parking in the public carpark, which seemed to give us free parking most of the time. Overall a fabulous place.
