This little gite was perfect after a tiring day of travel. Very clean, well equipped, everything seemed new, cosy bedroom, nice big shower, garden area with dining table out front. Coffee and other basics provided. Supermarket just round the corner open until 9pm, and sold fresh bread and croissants in the morning (there’s a boulangerie next door, but closed in August). Traditional, pretty, building with nice gardens and outside sitting area. Friendly host. Wood provided for the fireplace, and charcoal for bbq, fresh bread delivered to our door, coffee, milk and butter provided, and a bottle of homemade cider in the fridge. Miniature donkies near the stream.

Excellent breakfast with a great variety of healthy choices, served by Madame, who managed to get a group of her guests, from Italy, Netherlands and UK (me) happily conversing in a polyglot way around her large dining table. My room was quiet, comfortable, with a well-equipped bathroom, and views over the surrounding countryside (the house was part of a farm complex). Easy parking on the property, and speedy access to Rouen for an evening dinner.
