Good communication with owner. Quiet and well positioned near centre of village. Excellent WiFi. Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed but bed linen could be better. Furniture is adequate. Nice couch for relaxing. I stayed 2 nights. It wasn't terrible but definitely not good value for money.

The Schirmech train station and local Aldi supermarket are only a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. This accommodation is perfect for tourists (walkers) wishing to climb the GR5 into the Vosges Mountains. The views along the trails are breathtaking.
