The property was very well equipped, with lots of space. We travelled as a group of 12 in 3 families, there was lots of space for everyone to have the rooms that worked best for them. The property had everything we needed, Jean-Louis was a fantastic host, and his wine is fantastic too!
The property had so much to do, with lots of living space for us to spread out, the games room to entertain the older kids, the pool was fantastic, with lots of space and supplied inflatables for the younger kids. There’s a swing set and climbing frame, so many different places to eat for all different times of the day, from breakfast at the front in the morning sun looking out over the vineyards, to a large table at the back by the BBQ or by the pool for lunch while the kids play and the adults relax.
The property is in a good location with access to the local area. Nowhere is really quick to get to because of the rural location, but Limoux is only 10-15 minutes by car, but it being rural is perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. There’s loads to do in the local area, from walks, sightseeing, water sports on the local rivers or traveling to the mountains for cycling or mountain sports.
La Maison de la Riviere B&B is located in Espéraza, opposite the Aude River. A continental breakfast is served every morning, and free WiFi access is available in the rooms.

A beautifully restored old house in a quiet location which had recently been renovated to a very high standard.
There was a safe off street parking area for my motorcycle.
The room was large and beautifully decorated and furnished with a great modern bathroom and fantastic shower.
