Small but tasteful conversion a champagne winery gatehouse. Electric gate, secure off-road parking and ample run-around space for our companion cocker spaniel. Champagne tasting on our morning of departure was a delightful bonus as was a nearby boulangerie/patisserie for breakfast. Simple but charming eateries in the village provided a good evening meal.
The property was very clean and an easy walk to other champagne houses and restaurants in the area. We enjoyed being in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne. It was an easy drive to Reims or you could simply enjoy walking around the village. Lara, our hostess, made us feel very comfortable and at home during our stay.

A quiet location in a pretty village perfectly situated to visit the many champagne houses in the area. Beds comfortable and nice seating areas outside to sit and enjoy a glass or 2 in the sunshine. Mini bars with a choice of their champagne at very reasonable prices.
Host was very welcoming. The bedroom was accessed via a spiral staircase. The room was a decent size. The shower room was lovely, the toilet was separate & both toilet and shower room were accessed via the landing.
Breakfast was yoghurt, fresh bread and pastries with home made preserves.
The property is in a lovely village that had a mix of bars & restaurants and a bakery.
The location of the property is excellent! You are in the middle of all villages and close to Reims. The yard of the house is huge so for us that we had a dog with us it was amazing and the view from the terrace is beautiful. The people at the Domaine were super friendly and they welcomed us with a glass of champagne.
