Beautiful home in a lovely, traditional Haute Provence village. Easy access to Moustiers Sainte Marie (stunning) and the Verdon Gorge. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful with lots of advice and tips on restaurants and the local social scene. The resident cat and kitten were both delightful.

Beautiful inside. Hard to find, 4 flights of stairs with no elevator would make me not return. After reserving then I had to contact them again via email--why do they have to be high maintenance? I'd paid non refundable, why not just send me the inf.

Bastide is located at a ranch at the edge of a village named Riez. It is a clean, simple, and quiet place in nature. The owner, Gijel, is a super nice lady. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place, located at Verdon center, it may be exactly what you want.
Beautiful stay in Casa Augusta. Our host was lovely and very helpful from the start. The house is wonderful and the interior and rooms are beautifully decorated, very high attention to detail which is hard to come by! The place feels very luxurious & mimics that of a luxury hotel. Our room had a brilliant view towards the village. There was a lovely pool with another lovely viewpoint & a shared mini fridge to keep food/drinks.
The apartment is newly renovated and clean. The air conditioners work really well and are quiet - we slept well despite it being very hot while we were there. The shower worked well and the water was hot. Riez is a very nice village, we actually liked it more than Valensole. The market on Saturday was also wonderful.
Great location in a lively village with an excellent market and selection of good restaurants. Loved meeting the owner Geraldine who was extremely charming and helpful and all of her friendly and helpful colleagues.
The host was extremely nice and helpful. He recommended great spots to eat and some amazing towns nearby. He was very helpful in both English and French. The view from the room's patio was breathtaking. We will absolutely book this villa for our next trip to Provence!
It was a privilege to stay at Bastide de Mayan, like living in a Roman villa for a few days.
The road outside the property took straight into Riez and then along the Verdun Gorge, amazing views and spectacular drives.
Perfectly located close to the center of the village. A short walk to one of the Boulangeries for the breakfast baguette and to shops and restaurants. Market at the square 2 days a week plus one eveningmarket was very nice. Easiest to park the car at the schoolparking instead of keeping track of what days you are allowed or not allowed to park at the square! A lovely village, close to both La Gorge du Verdon and Lac d'Esparron in lovely surroundings.
