Magnificent place to stay. The hosts were perfect. We had an enormous twin room, and the ensuite was the size of most bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Cooking facilities for an evening meal are available in the adjoining annex (there is a gas BBQ available in the garden). Breakfast at the main dining table was good.

Terrific room, hosting, breakfast. Beautiful area for hiking and exploring the history of the history.
The house was comfortably furnished and well located. The property is near the centre of the village and a restaurant. It is also near the footpath to the castle and not far from the swimming lake. Puivert is also conveniently located for visiting other Cathar castles and places of interest. The owners were always responsive and helpful.
We would only suggest that if the owner were allowed to put a sign for his "hotel" at the nearest junction in the village, it would be quite a bit easier to find!
Two walkers arrive at an accommodation in need of a few items from a grocery store and there is no grocery store in that village. The hosts learn this and immediately offer to drive the walkers a few kilometers to another village to shop for those items. Then on the way back to the hotel the host drops the guests off at taproom for a beer and carry the shopping back to the guest room. That’s what it’s like to stay at Bonnes Saisons.
