Great location. Fascinating 18th century inn. Interestingly decorated. Run by a very welcoming and helpful couple who know the area intimately and give generously of their knowledge. It was in a beautiful part of the country. The pool was lovely, the breakfast was superb, with cheese, ham, egg if required, fresh bread, crispy croissants, jam, choc spread and tea or coffee. The hostess couldn’t have been nicer or more willing to help. The price of the room and breakfast was absolutely excellent value for money.

Perfect French breakfast in the pretty garden. We loved the location in the centre of the delightful village of Rennes Les Bains. Warning if you have heavy suitcases, there’s no parking immediately outside and there are steps up to the property, but Madame was very helpful and assisted us with our cases. If you’re in this part of the world, its a lovely place to stay.
We stayed a night as we walked the Cathar Way. For a small studio it’s well designed and perfectly comfortable for two people. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. We really enjoyed the private terrace and the tranquilly of the village.
