The setting, rooms, building, and atmosphere were idyllic. Traditional medieval castle at it's best. Food and host could not have been better. The surrounding forests and lakes were beautiful. This property has been meticulously renovated back to it's original form. Excellent.

He is also a trained chef, which I didn't know at the time I reserved dinner online..To say it was a pleasant surprise is an understatement :-). Breakfast was wonderful too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
