we liked everything! The property is in a beautiful rural location on the edge of a pretty village. You enter via private gates and the property welcomes you with open arms. The owners have obviously invested not only a lot of money to transform this wonderful property but they have also invested their hearts and soul, with style and panache! The heated pool, jacuzzi and outdoor area was exactly what we needed to relax after a long day of driving! Our very spoilt dog was in heaven roaming around the garden. As we sat on the terrace, with our meal and wine, we reflected on our good luck at finding such a lovely place!

The host were incredible, gave us a full tour of the property and vineyard followed by a visit of the cave and wine testing. Took a lot of time to make us feel at home and answered all our questions. The bed was super comfy, new bathroom and aircon. We loved the expresso machine in our room and all others attentions. We decided to get breakfast too and did not regret our decision. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Hosts made sure everything was fine and made us coffees. Chateau monichot is a work in progress and not everything is perfect yet. The host are however putting a tremendous amount of work and care towards the place and looking after guests while having to manage the vineyard and vine making.
