We rented a family room. It was really spacious, decorated with care and perfectly clean. The beds were really confortable and the sheets especially soft! For breakfast we purchased some pastries from the bakery nearby and ate in the little garden with coffee from the kitchen, a perfect start of the day!

Close to Amboise, this charming and quiet mansion, furnished with great attention to detail, is a place where we felt very comfortable and would love to come back. The beautiful house has four cosy rooms, all on the first floor, a dining room and three living rooms where you can take time out, play billiards, read or just relax. Soft drinks, beer, coffee and tea are available free of charge and there is a microwave, oven and small beverage refrigerator for guests who wish to self-cater. Behind the house is a lovely, lush garden, a swimming pool (which was closed during our stay in April), and plenty of parking if you arrive by car. The delicious breakfast, served from 8 to 10 a.m., is a real treat with homemade bread, pastries, local cheeses, eggs, ham, apple or orange juice, assorted jams, honey, fruit, and freshly brewed coffee or herbal tea. Eric and Nathalie were excellent hosts; always happy to help. The accommodation is private; a gîte in a very peaceful village. Being near to Amboise, the gîte is in an ideal location for anyone visiting the chateaux or doing some cycling along this stretch of the Loire. There is the option of dinner provided by Eric and Nathalie - which we took advantage of on our last night and did not regret. I highly recommend it.

It was s simply amazing. Great location very close to Amboise and easily accessible. Both bedrooms are really big with a nice bathrooms. A nice view on the garden. Impossible to describe the breakfast experience, it was so good. Fresh, home made or local food, varied on the 8 days we spent there, tasty, delicious. And Giovanna is so nice and so took care of us so well, always with a smile and good advice. We really really enjoyed our stay there and would come back anytime.

We booked because it was dog friendly but unfortunately he passed away before the trip. But if you do have a dog it's perfect. Large secure garden directly across from a huge, beautiful park. It's only a few minutes from Amboise, so the location is great too. The house is well equipped, it's an older traditional style property and is very clean. Beds are comfy, rooms are all a decent size. It really worked for us, and we would go back.
