Very well located B&B, 5 minutes off the A16 motorway but still in the countryside with very nice views. Very quiet, plenty of parking. The room is very private, nicely decorated but still functional, large, extremely clean. The hosts are particularly nice and welcoming, the French breakfast is good and copious. There is a fridge available but no cooking facilities; however there are small restaurants not far and a big shopping centre 5 minutes away by car. This B&B is perfect for an overnight stay on a trip to the West of France or a for a long weekend/short stay visiting la Cote d'Opale.

This was an absolutely superb place to stay. Veronique was an outstanding hostess who was very pleased that I could speak French. In fact she helped me regain a lot of the confidence I had lost in speaking French and for that I am most grateful. The breakfasts were outstanding and it was a bonus that on some days I could breakfast outside on the terrace. My accommodation was within the family home and I was very happy to respect that and ensure I was quiet. In addition to a very comfortable bedroom I had a sitting room, toilet, bathroom and a small corner with a kettle. I also had access to a fridge. While this is in the country, you are only 4 minutes from the Auchan shopping centre. Wimereux is also easy to get to and has a variety of restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The whole experience at Alex Factory was nothing short of excellent. Late on a dark, stormy and windy evening where we were stranded on the Opal Coast due to some red tape with our dogs, we opted to go out of Calais and we found Alex Factory. Whilst you wouldn't pick it for its rather quirky name, the host was excellent; attentive, invisible and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed and we were allowed to play it our way - we had a motorbike on a trailer which needed to be reloaded and he was happy for us to do that. In the morning, a delicious breakfast appeared like magic in the dining room - and the host popped in to see how we were doing. We will definitaly go and stay there again - next time under less adverse circumstances I hope.

The accommodation is a very well equipped apartment in a rural setting with very quiet surroundings. The sitting area is also very spacious and it is pleasant to sit there in the evening sun. Margot, the owner, is extremely helpful. We had a lovely stay and will certainly come back again. We really felt at home there.

Our hosts, Lea and Quentin, were absolutely delightful and were so generous with their time in showing us around the property and explaining the renovations that they had already finished and are planning to do in the future. It is obvious that this couple loves what they do, and loves interacting with their guests, Our room was absolutely delightful, with a kitchenette, delightful sitting area, nice, big bed and a fantastic shower. We especially enjoyed the charming details added by Lea that made it so unique. The Internet was great and the television in the room had many channels not normally available in regular French hotels in several languages. We also loved the setting on a peaceful wooded green hill, overlooking the valley and the ocean beyond. A quiet piece of paradise that we would recommend to anyone passing through this area.
