Philippe the host did his upmost to make us feel so welcome! Can not thank him enough! We were so tired from our long drive! We arrived quite late and had to drive out for food but managed to find it again in the dark. Breakfast was a great spread but unfortunately with teeth braces I didn’t get to eat most of this! So sorry to Philippe for all his effort. Would highly recommend because the house itself is just stunning. So much to take in and the garden! Wow just wow! Thanks Philippe. We loved our stay.

Lovely host. We took up his offer to pick us up from the train station for 15 euro as we did not have a car. He also invited us to an evening in the village explaining the history of Nieul sur mer which ended up at the property. A lot of fun. Very comfortable spacious apartment/gîte with lovely outdoor area. Beautiful pool but alas while we were there the weather was too cool to swim. Bus 11 from La Rochelle is an easy ride to the property. Note. It does not run on a Sunday.

We really liked it here and both Nicole and Joel were great. We had a great space and were able to eat our own food there as we had a dining area with a fridge that looked over the garden. Nicole was extremely helpful getting us anythhing we wanted, great place!

Phillips and Jann are very good hosts. we received a warm welcome from the start to end of our stay. breakfast is continental, including home made jams which were particularly very tasty). Various teas to choose from/coffee and fruit juice. our suite was tastefully decorated. spacious and comfortable. large amount of towels and bedding available. all areas of the outdoor pool are very tidy and cleaned regularly. Phillipe and Jann display a care for the environment. a great stay all round.
