The Appeal: apartment in the heart of Nantes The Caveat: you have to climb 5 floors The Payoff: incredible views of Nantes looking over roof tops to the cathedral and the clock tower. Looking down and hearing and seeing the exciting night life This was an amazing apartment in a superb location for sights, restaurants, and nightlife. Antonin is a super host and thinks of everything. His suggestions for dining were excellent as were his guidance on things to see in the amount of time you have. Just sitting in his beautiful apartment listening to the cafes down below (yes there was an accordion player in the square) was a perfect way to end an evening after walking and eating all day. There is a very nice kitchen with stove and microwave, but why cook when you have an incredible selection of eateries right outside your front door. I would give Edgar Hyper-Centre 20 stars if I could.

Marc's flat is simply wonderful! We had a great stay, the room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom perfect! We could use the kitchen freely and Marc was on hand to help us with anything. We use the washing machine and dryer for a small fee. The flat is close to the tram and supermarket. It was worth booking this place!

The apartment is very spacious, clean and well decorated. Bed super comfortable and quiet. While it is on a main street we didn't hear any noise at night. Make sure you get the location of the one free paeking garage as the city has institued a parking scheme that limit long term free parking. Even if you can't find free parking, long term is very affordable under 7€ for 12 hours

The host is the best part of this B&B. She is so sweet and patient with my awful French. It felt like staying with my grandma. Everything was cozy and so welcoming. And the bathroom is really nice as well.

Lovely old home with beautiful garden on cobble-stoned street only a ten-minute walk from the train station. Lovely host shared great information on visiting Nantes and offered a sumptuous traditional French breakfast. Access to the gated property and main entrance was easy.
