It's a very unique experience. If you want to sleep in a French home with lots of history around you, this is the place to be. The hostess really makes this place very charming. We had such wonderful conversations around the breakfast table. Very affordable, cozy, and special.

Very friendly welcome from Vincent who was extremely helpful. Vincent even thought about reserving a table at a local restaurant for us before we arrived after a long day driving. Beautiful guest house with great views of the local village and river. Rooms furnished to a very high standard. Breakfast was plentiful and great home made jams and apple juice started our day off perfectly. What more could I say than everything was perfect and we would recommend staying here as it is top quality.

The location was quiet. Apartment was so very clean and kitchen well equipped. For a one bed apartment it was huge. Parking right outside was great. It was only a short visit (visiting family in a nearby village), but will definitely look to use again. Host was very helpful and was on hand if there was anything we needed. For anyone wishing to visit this region I would recommend. A minute drive to various supermarkets if required.

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences in my years of travel. Didi is a marvelous host and chef. The meals were delicious, cooked from scratch, and beautifully served. Maartin's knowledge of WWI history is astounding. I'm so pleased I could purchase one of his books. Their museum was more than I could have possibly hoped for. This is the place to visit for anyone interested in the battles that ended WWI—or just quaint small villages in the French countryside. The landscape is as charming as the people are friendly.

Well maintained and clean. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent.
