I highly recommend a stay in this truly exceptional French country house. The welcoming hosts greeted us with a bottle of wine and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The house was extremely well equipped for a comfortable stay, with copious cookware and beautiful serving dishes. The property provided an excellent base for touring the region (Bordeaux, Arcachon beaches, St. Emilion vineyards, prehistoric caves in Dordogne, and Cognac). The property's front and back gardens are very charming, with the back offering fantastic views of the Dordogne River with its mesmerizing tides.
