All made of wood, and located in a private forest territory. Amazing sleep guaranteed. Good tea coffee facilities, well equipped kitchen. Overall a comfy house. There is a shower and 2 proper sinks. Super calm environment, and seems that the owners serve nice breakfast (we didn’t know about it)

There was an issue to begin with over the number of bedrooms which we booked and paid for, however the owners were quick to respond and went out of their way to resolve this. The renovation shows a lot of thought and care and the home is clean and cosy. Although I do think that the sofa might need replacing as it's not the most comfortable. The beds were really comfortable, though. The facilities were excellent and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the crockery and cutlery required. The cold water dispenser from the fridge was a welcome relief during the heatwave! I do think it's good to note that you are expected to hoover, sweep and take down your bedding before leaving or you are charged €30. I normally do this as a matter of course but not everyone does or expects this. Overall a very good time at Apart-Hotel in Darney with good and responsive hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Most everything, Beautiful appartment, excellent bed, nice shower, good WiFi/ internet, lovely terrass, coffee machine. The owner wasn't present, but that presented no problem. He prepared everything and his instructions were very clear and helpfull.

The apartment is situated very close to the bains zone. It is all clearly indicated by the owner: where you can park, all apartment staff... Even there is a survivor kit in the kitchen, in case of urgency: pasta and salsa :) If there was some milk in the coffee set, this apartment will have a "11" mark :)

Our hosts were fantastic and the accommodation was beautiful. We had a wonderful meal and a restful night's sleep. We would 100% recommend this hotel to others and stay again when in the area.

We loved everything about this property. The location is amazing. The view over the river beneath the property is beautiful, peaceful and exceptional. The hosts were incredibly hospitable. Alan and Ina went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help us. My wife’s bag had gone missing on the flight into France and they were very sympathetic and accommodating, supporting us with our plans and arrangements to finally recover the bag when it was found. They went out of their way to help us when we Needed to return our hire car and move onto the Canal boat. They could not have done more to help us at all. We are very grateful for all that they did. Fontenoy Le Château is a beautiful town and is a must see destination. We would certainly go out of our way to return and stay with Alan and Ina again. Being the true English gentleman, Alan made sure to have some cold beers available in the fridge when we arrived. We then enjoyed very much their company in the evening as we sat around the table outside overlooking river and consumed many more beers and some lovely local wine. Alan is a history buff and gave us some good advice on visiting the US Army war memorial at Epinal nearby.
