Incredibly peaceful location and an old, very traditional house. Breakfast was in a charming dining room with several home made preserves and delicious breads. Rooms are very comfortable but not luxurious and we loved the ambience and tranquility.

James and Sandrine were perfect hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the property. They were communicative, friendly and really helpful. They kindly made a restaurant recommendation and even made the reservation for us. Nothing was too much trouble. They even gave us some eggs from their chickens for breakfast! The rooms were all great and the bathroom and toiletries provided were lovely. We enjoyed a game of pool in the evening. We couldn't have asked for more!

Probably one of the best hotel stays of my life. This ancient bed & breakfast exceeded every expectation that I had. The sprawling ancient buildings, the 400-year-old warped stairs, the incredible homecooked morning breakfast spread every morning (including impeccable cheese boxes) won me over at every turn. The property was very beautiful and the hosts were lovely. A lot of effort was put in to making our stay pleasant and comfortable. A little bit of a cycle into Le Fousseret for dinner (with very limited options), but overall we loved our stay. The breakfast was delicious and the animals were very cute
